Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare, calculate, and post journal entries to the general ledger for multiple entities as the Staff Accountant
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness as the Staff Accountant
- Review and code monthly expense reimbursements and maintain fixed‑asset ledgers as the Staff Accountant
- Prepare monthly financial statement binders and analyze income‑statement trends as the Staff Accountant
- Support internal and external audit requests and provide financial reporting to management as the Staff Accountant
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands‑on general ledger accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with strong attention to detail
