We are looking for a hard-working and experienced Staff Accountant to join our clients Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations within the transportation industry. Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- General ledger
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Fixed Assets
- Prepare weekly and biweekly payroll entries
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Assisting with analysis and projects as needed
- Backup to AR/AP
Staff Accountant Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with ERP systems
- Manufacturing industry is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable learning new software and working with various technology tools
- Ability to work independently on tasks and collaborate with a team
- Strong organizational skills
