Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Destin, FL
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 Base

About the Role
• Join a growing, multi-location organization within the hospitality and lifestyle services industry
• Support the Finance team with core accounting, reporting, and analysis responsibilities
• Play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, and operational support
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and other internal teams

Responsibilities
• Complete month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of revenue and expense accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform variance analysis on financial performance
• Identify, document, and assist with implementing accounting policies and process improvements
• Assist with preparation of external financial statements and support external audits
• Apply U.S. GAAP principles daily and assist with technical accounting research
• Plan and execute monthly financial reviews with local operations teams
• Support departments with reporting, analysis, and special projects
• Assist with accounts payable processing and year-end tax forms for owners and vendors
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience; industry or public accounting experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP
• Experience analyzing transactional data and resolving variances preferred
• CPA certification and NetSuite experience a plus, but not required
