Staff Accountant

CFS is partnering with a real estate company in the Austin area to find a skilled Staff Accountant.

Overview of the Staff Accountant Role:

As a Staff Accountant, you will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• • Accurately process daily financial transactions and manage the posting process.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including the timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Create month end/ quarterly statements and reports.
  • Ensure ledgers are balanced and reconciled on a regular basis.
  • Help with budget preparation and monitor expenses in relation to budgeted amounts.

  Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Staff Accountant, with practical knowledge of Yardi.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Systems: Yardi, excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
