Snap-on Business Solutions (Snap-on Incorporated-Repair Service & Information Division)

Location:  Rochester Hills, MI

Work Hrs:  Monday - Friday ONSITE 5 days per week; 8a-5p.

 

Responsible for all web development of SBS projects. Work closely with account professionals in defining requirements, preparing design documents, developing code, unit and system testing code, documenting code and processes, and rolling code to test environment. Must follow all standards and development prodecures. The position reports to the SBS Technology Manager. Must be proficient in latest web technologies including ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, MS SQL 2000/2005/2008, IIS, XML technologies, JAVA Script, ASP, and html. Must have experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel and Access applications. Strong oral and written communication is necessary.

Responsibilities

1. Be an active participant on SBS Web Development Projects.*2. Complete all tasks as assigned by Technology Manager.*3. Follow SBS Development Methodology for all projects.*4. Test all development work and properly document all efforts.*5. Interface with SBS Marketing, Product Management and Account Managers as needed.*6. Interface with Snap-on Corporate IT personnel.*

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience and certifications accepted (5+ years of web development experience). 2. Experience with web design.3. Knowledge of content management systems.4. Knowledge of Internet, Intranet, and e-commerce systems and their content update processes.5. Experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.6. In-depth experience with Visual Studio 2005 (or later), MS SQL 2000, 2005, 2008 IIS.7. Ability to work alone or in teams on projects with little direction.8. Strong oral and written communication skills.
