Who We Are:

We are the Fuels and Lubricants Division! We are a diverse team tasked with providing high quality instrumentation support for one of the largest independent fuels and lubes testing facilities in the world. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes).

Objectives of this Role:
  • Our objective is to provide the most accurate data to our clients through careful maintenance and calibrations of our machines and systems.
  • Through on-the-job training, you will learn to make repairs/improvements to existing instrumentation systems and processes.
  • Perform all duties while complying with all quality and safety standards.
  • Some tasks will require working independently, while others will be with fellow team members.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Follow procedures and written and verbal instructions.
  • Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and project leaders.
  • Perform routine and unique calibrations and repairs while maintaining excellent quality records.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills.
  • Learn from the talented craft technicians on our team. Must follow and adhere to safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Advanced education, such as an Associates degree or continuing education courses related to Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or similar is highly desired.
  • 2-10 years: Experience in the Instrumentation field including comprehensive knowledge in troubleshooting and calibrations.
  • 1-2 years: Experience using computer software including Microsoft Office Applications e.g., Excel and MS Word.
  • 2-10 years: Interpret schematics, electronic diagrams, manuals as well as written and spoken instructions.
  • Some tasks will require working solo, while others will be with fellow team members.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.

  • Fuels and Lubricants Research-Performing fuels and lubricants research activities to meet regulatory and competitive goals.
  • Intelligent Systems-Providing engineering services in resaerch and development of complex systems and equipment.
  • Mechanical Engineering-Improving safety, reliability, efficiency and life of new or existing mechanical components or systems.
