Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists or Recruiters to ensure high-quality hiring processes.
- Source, screen, and perform preliminary interviews on potential candidates to meet project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate site interviews with hiring managers and make employment offers compliant with federal/state law.
- Manage assigned employment requisitions, including reviewing, editing, and final approvals.
- Track and report staffing data using various software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases.
- Assist in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering relevant hiring information.
- Build and update job descriptions based on project scope and requirements.
- Coordinate redeployment initiatives and communicate proactively with current employees.
- Conduct administrative tasks such as background checks, drug screenings, I9 compliance, and E-Verify.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal partners regarding the employment process.
- Provide guidance and support to subordinate recruiters, contributing to performance evaluations.
- Participate in other duties as assigned to support recruiting operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced or operational environment, working closely with hiring managers.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and explain recruiting reports such as time to fill, pipeline health, and requisition aging.
- Experience improving or creating recruiting processes, with examples of workflows or enhancements.
- Ability to balance recruiting duties with reporting and operational responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
- Team-oriented mindset supporting cross-functional recruiting efforts.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize Tracking Management Systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications preferred.
- Stable work history with reasonable tenure; no frequent job hopping.
- Professional references available upon request.
