️ Senior Structural Engineer – Power & Heavy Industrial Projects
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Opportunity Overview:
Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support large-scale power generation and heavy industrial infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone experienced in both new construction and retrofit environments, with a strong understanding of structural engineering design principles, seismic analysis, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural engineering design for complex power and industrial projects

• Prepare structural calculations, reports, studies, and construction documents

• Design foundations, structural steel, and related systems from concept through construction

• Review applicable codes and specifications; ensure compliance throughout project lifecycle

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated design packages

• Support site work, retrofits, and structural elements of both greenfield and brownfield projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 8+ years of experience in structural design (preferably in power or industrial sectors)

• PE license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure a plus)

• Proficient in structural analysis tools such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad

• Familiar with Autodesk Advance Steel (preferred)

• Prior experience with seismic design for critical infrastructure (nuclear industry experience strongly valued)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
