Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Physician Services Labor Management Sr. Specialist provides analytical and operational support for labor and productivity initiatives across the service line. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate productivity data, running routine reports, and using standard company tools to support facility and service line leaders. The Specialist identifies basic trends, prepares summaries or recommendations for review by managers, and helps ensure compliance with corporate processes and labor standards. The position supports budgeting activities, assists with staffing and productivity adjustments, and contributes to a positive and collaborative working environment by delivering timely and reliable information to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies basic productivity trends and opportunities, preparing recommendations for review by managers and facility leadership.
  • Maintains and supports the use of labor/productivity systems and web‑based applications to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Assists in preparing materials and data for strategic planning meetings, including updates related to operational goals and cost‑saving targets.
  • Supports the integration of Physician Services departments into PLUS‑related systems (Kronos, GHR, QMIRS, etc.) by completing setup tasks and verifying accuracy.
  • Compiles and evaluates productivity data for various skill mixes, including Medical Assistants, Clinicians, and Providers.
  • Provides training support for PLUS, FPC, and productivity tools by assisting leaders and end users with navigation and system understanding.
  • Routinely monitors productivity performance and reports variances using approved tools and software.
  • Helps maintain and improve daily operational processes, policies, and system procedures to support cost‑reduction and system‑utilization efforts.
  • Supports the budget planning process by preparing reports and supplying productivity‑related data.
  • Produces monthly KPI reports and assists in preparing quarterly scorecards.
  • Supports workforce development by helping coordinate training and in‑service opportunities across Physician Services.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree - Relative work experience may substitute for other degrees
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant work
