What you will do
- Design and develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Write clean, testable code primarily in Apex.
- Ensure systems are instrumented for observability, including logging, tracing, and metrics.
- Collaborate on improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices to increase delivery confidence.
- Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to high technical standards and shared learning.
- Work closely with product and other engineering teams to align technical work with business goals.
- Actively participate in evaluating and improving system performance, reliability, and operational maturity.
- Contribute to engineering practices that support long-term scalability and maintainability.
Your experience and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field OR relevant accredited technical certification, OR equivalent work experience.
- Deep understanding of Lightning Web Components.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with web application development, including JavaScript, CSS, or HTML5.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools.
- Experience designing and building backend APIs and services in production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD deployments.
- Understanding of observability best practices including logs, traces, metrics, and alerts.
- A mindset of ownership and accountability, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Credentials:
- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Gearset.
- Working knowledge of various Salesforce integration patterns and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud development.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
- Salesforce Lightning Web Components Specialist (Trailhead Super Badge).
Pay Range: $75 to $78 per hour, depending upon experience.
