A Senior Software Engineer is an experienced professional who oversees software development projects, writes clean and efficient code, and provides technical leadership to a team of engineers. They are responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software solutions. Some expectations would be, directing software development projects, Producing, testing and debugging code and Leading engineers and developers
Qualifications
This specific project is a RDML Remediation -- skills required include Cobol, DB2 ZOS SUPRA Database from CIncom, Mainframe developer 5 yrs or more of experience
BS Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school (choose Electrical, Mechanical) required, or a P.E. License (Advanced degree a plus)
Position Level requires 5-7 years of relevant work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
In-depth understanding of pertinent technical products and/or services and of customer needs and expectations
Demonstrate a questioning attitude to continue to learn, produce results, and strengthen existing relationships
Possess a sound knowledge of various researching techniques Intermediate level analytical and technical abilities
Deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make formal technical presentations to various management levels
Education Requirement: At Minimum completion of High School Diploma or G.E.D., unless specified that a higher level of education is required for the position or stated otherwise in the job description.
