The Sr Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst is a highly skilled, experienced and detail-oriented individual. Responsible for developing, administrating, and communicating Sales incentive programs to drive sales performance and achieve organizational objectives. The Sr Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst participates in the development of incentive programs that support the organization's sales goals, reflect the sales culture, and maintain competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs. Includes review and recommendation of variable pay consisting of commissions and bonus payouts. Ensures that all compensation-related activities are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, standards and internal policies. Works collaboratively with Finance, Sales Management and Sales Strategy in support of the sales compensation process and delivers key insights on sales performance and compensation impacts. Continuously evaluating and making recommendations regarding improving the incentive compensation processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy, transparency, and scalability. "
Responsibilities:- Cross-functional Collaboration & Program Management: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new innovative sales compensation plans or modify existing ones, ensuring alignment with company goals, sales strategies, and regulatory requirements. • Ensures the preparation and distribution of annual plan documents, position summaries and communications regarding the upcoming plan year.
- Program Design & Optimization: • Conducts ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales incentive programs and make recommendations for improvements. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in the sales compensation space, suggesting improvements to ensure our programs remain competitive and effective.
- Performance Monitoring - Analysis and Assessment: • Builds strong relationships and works collaboratively with sales leaders to deliver key insights on sales incentive performance. • Supports sales leadership by answering detailed questions regarding compensation plans and timely review and resolution of sales issues. •Prepare and present reports, presentations and recommendations to senior leadership on sales incentive performance.
- Compliance and Governance: • Keeps abreast of trends and changes in Human Resources legislation and makes recommendations for change to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement - technology and systems: • Continuously evaluates and improves incentive compensation processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and scalability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline - Required
- 2 years of experience in Project management experience.
- 5 years of experience in Salary administration and job evaluation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in Sales compensation, sales strategy, sales operations, finance or a similarly applicable field.
