Sr Quality Engineer II
We’re hiring a Senior Quality Engineer II to support and strengthen our Quality function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll partner closely with the Quality Manager, act as a customer-facing quality representative, and help drive continuous improvement across operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning inspections, First Articles, returns, and compliance, while also mentoring others and improving systems
What You’ll Do
- Support the Quality Manager with returns, source inspections, and quality initiatives
- Serve as the primary customer contact for quality issues and improvement efforts
- Lead QA/QC modules within the Visual Quality Database
- Create and submit First Article Inspection (FAI) packages using Net-Inspect or similar tools
- Initiate and manage customer returns (RMA) and corrective actions
- Collect and analyze quality data to support continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 / ISO9001 / FAA requirements
- Provide guidance and direction to quality team members
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, suppliers, and customers
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- FAA Certificated Repair Station Inspector (or ability to obtain)
- 5+ years in a formal quality role
- 10+ years in a manufacturing environment (AS9100 and/or ISO9001)
- Proficiency with Net-Inspect
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts (FAR/DFAR)
- Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred

- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
