Overview:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Test Cases/Test Data Using Software Programs – Coordinating Testing by All Stakeholders
  • Work Closely with Business Analysis and Engineering Staff to Ensure Test Cases are Valid
  • Document, Track, and Communicate Test Plans, Test Results, Analysis, and Unresolved Problems
  • Follow defect tracking processes; including software defect documentation, defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps) utilization, ensuring open defects are monitored and escalated as needed based on aging and priority
  • Lead Testing Efforts for Functional Areas
  • Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts to ensure sufficient test coverage of Mortgage Connect Applications and APIs
  • Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
  • Design test plans to determine product quality or release readiness
  • Partner with Software Engineers, System Integrators, Product Owners to deliver high performing quality customer experiences
  • Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules
  • Identify interdependencies, ambiguities or omissions, and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, with focus to mitigate risks
  • Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Writing, or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 7+ Years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • 1+ Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry

5+ years of experience implementing test automation solutions
