We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in heavy civil mass transit projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to transformative infrastructure projects in a city that's at the forefront of transportation innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Track, review, and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications, and claims if applicable.
  • Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports, and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing labor costs, and completing quarterly profit project records.
  • Manage the preparation and execution of the Project closeout process.
  • Research and propose solutions to quality control issues.
  • Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
  • Provide support to the project leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field is required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of construction industry experience.
  • Field Engineer experience preferred.
  • Electrical contractor experience is a plus.
  • Traffic / Street Lighting experience is a plus.
  • Must understand fundamentals of contracting and have familiarity with large-scale mass transit / transportation projects.
  • Must be organized with the ability to manage a system or discipline.
  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities is vital.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills such as tact, diplomacy, influence, etc., are essential.
  • Must be a business-oriented person.
