We are seeking a Sr. Product Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the new development and improvement of our products. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking scientific advancements. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in product development, design improvement, and data analysis, with proficiency in SolidWorks or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Product Development Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
2. Utilizing SolidWorks to create detailed product designs and specifications.
3. Overseeing the entire product development process, from initial concept through to final production.
4. Implementing design improvements to enhance the functionality, performance, and cost-effectiveness of existing products.
5. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product objectives are achieved.
6. Conducting comprehensive data analysis to identify potential areas for product improvement, and developing innovative solutions to address these.
7. Ensuring all product development activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
8. Presenting product designs and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Staying abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive products to inform product development strategies.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree will be highly regarded.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in product development within the scientific industry.
3. Proven experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
4. Strong experience in design improvement and new product development.
5. Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to product development.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
9. A solid understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
10. A strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
