Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a leading healthcare research hospital and is seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Analyst to contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of payroll for a reputable healthcare organization. This role involves reviewing and resolving payroll discrepancies, maintaining employee data, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Review employee data to resolve pay discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Process manual checks and review Paycheck Inquiry Forms (PIF).
  • Serve as a liaison between HRIS and Payroll, providing technical assistance to managers and timekeepers.
  • Prepare and export time files for payroll processing.
  • Maintain payroll metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Produce audit reports and provide research support to Accounting and Human Resources.
  • Provide audit and technical support between systems and assist with annual payroll processes.
  • Oversee staff and processes in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and HR staff on special projects.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in automated payroll and timekeeping systems.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $75,000.00 to $78,000.00
