Reporting to the Sr Director, Marketing & eCommerce, the Marketing Strategy Manager will lead and execute marketing strategies that align with AWI’s overall business goals. This role is crucial for driving impactful initiatives and campaigns, from planning to execution, ensuring maximum reach and results. This role will collaborate across teams, initiate go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and optimize the customer journey to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, results-oriented, and highly self-motivated with a passion for marketing innovation.

What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals, target audiences, and key objectives.
- Lead the marketing strategy for key initiatives and campaigns, ensuring effective execution and measurable outcomes.
- Create and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new market segments, customer verticals, and product launches, ensuring strong market presence and impact.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business units, product management, marketing teams, and sales, to gather insights and requirements for strategy development.
- Partner with marketing teams (digital, creative, analytics, website, etc.) to develop cohesive marketing plans, budgets, KPIs, messaging, and creative concepts.
Customer Journey Optimization
- Map out and optimize the customer journey from awareness to conversion, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience (UX) across all touchpoints.
- Continuously analyze customer behavior and feedback to improve engagement and conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Partner with VP, Corporate & Strategic Development for help to conduct market research, including Voice of the Customer (VOC) studies and competitive analysis, to identify key insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging opportunities, and threats to stay ahead of market dynamics.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with other teams to develop campaign timelines, budgets, media plan, and execution plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of results.
- Track and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make informed decisions on future strategies.
- Set KPIs for campaigns, measuring key metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
What will make you successful
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new market segments and product launches.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data to drive decision-making.
- Deep understanding of customer journey mapping and experience optimization across all touchpoints (online/offline).
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail in both messaging and visual aspects of campaigns.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Advanced proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.), data visualization, and performance tracking.
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Meta, content marketing, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced marketing certifications (e.g., Digital Marketing, Brand Management) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy, product marketing, or brand management, with a proven track record in leading cross-functional initiatives and campaigns.
