Description AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Recruiting to lead our high-volume Data Center recruiting function. This role will drive the talent acquisition strategy for our rapidly expanding global data center footprint, managing a team of recruiters responsible for hiring thousands of technical and operational professionals annually. You will partner with senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure to build world-class teams that power the cloud. Key job responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiting professionals supporting data center hiring across multiple regions Set clear performance metrics and hold the team accountable for delivering exceptional hiring outcomes Build recruiting capability through coaching, training, and career development Foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellence within the recruiting team Strategic Talent Acquisition: Own recruiting strategy for data center roles including Data Center Technicians, Engineers, Managers, and Operations leadership Scale hiring operations to support growth targets while maintaining quality bar Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines in competitive markets Partner with business teams to forecast hiring needs and proactively build talent pools Stakeholder Management: Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders across Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Engineering Influence hiring strategy through data-driven insights and market intelligence Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams Present recruiting metrics, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and candidate experience Establish and monitor KPI's including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and other metrics Manage recruiting budget and vendor relationships Implement scalable recruiting programs and tools to support high-volume hiring About the team AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is the backbone of AWS, responsible for hiring the professionals who design, build, and operate the global network of data centers that power the AWS Cloud. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience - 5+ years of direct people leadership experience - 3+ years of managing managers experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent - Experience in Recruiting or HR - Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team - Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies - Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets - Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team - Experience with workforce planning - Experience partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
