The organization seeks a Sr. KDB+ Developer to build and maintain regulatory reporting applications across multiple asset classes. The role will design, develop, and deliver solutions with high reliability and performance under regulatory scrutiny. The position will collaborate with business partners and technology teams, contributing to architecture, analysis, and hands-on development. The work focuses on KDB+, Linux, and modern data and DevOps tooling to enable accurate and timely reporting.

Rate: $100.00 to $120.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain KDB+ applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes.
- Collaborate with regulatory reporting business teams and brokerage technology teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, design, and analysis activities to ensure scalable and reliable systems.
- Develop and support REST microservices and data integration components.
- Implement deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.
- Support event streaming and messaging integrations as needed.
- Partner within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deliver features.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of development with KDB+, Java, and Python.
- Deep understanding of programming languages and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and bash.
- Experience with application deployment automation and pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms (preferred).
- Experience executing projects in Agile environments such as Kanban and Scrum.
- 5+ years with user interface frameworks or platforms such as Angular or React.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, and Docker.
- Experience using source control for feature-driven development in Bitbucket, Stash, or Git.
- Experience with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries such as Apigee.
- Familiarity with automated deployment in uDeploy.
- Ability to learn new technologies and solve complex problems.
- Experience with REST microservice architecture.
