About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale high‑performance distributed applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, MQ, and MuleSoft, along with strong experience in cloud‑native architecture and CI/CD‑driven delivery.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Build and integrate event‑driven systems using Kafka and MQ
- Develop and support system integrations using MuleSoft
- Apply object‑oriented design principles and architectural patterns to enterprise applications
- Write clean, reusable, and testable Java code following best practices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement automated testing, unit tests, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross‑functional teams
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications using monitoring tools such as Splunk
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in:
- Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
- Kafka and MQ (event/message‑driven systems)
- MuleSoft integration development
- Strong understanding of:
- Object‑oriented programming and design patterns
- Java concurrency and multithreading
- JVM internals, class loading mechanism, and performance tuning
- Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
- Experience working with SQL and both embedded and external databases
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant
- Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk)
- Strong understanding of scalable and resilient system design
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
