Sr Java Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (3x/ week onsite)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:

• Java development – 100% or Must needed with 2–5 years of minimum experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles – 100% or Must needed
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate – 100% or Must needed
• Prior experience with technology industry is a MUST for this position
• Education Level – Bachelor’s Degree is Mandatory in the field of Computer Science

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills but are not required:

• SQL: At least 1 year of experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• NoSQL: At least 1 year of experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Key tasks and expectations for the role:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to implement business requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval
