Sr Investment Data Analyst

A financial services organization is actively seeking a new Senior Investment Data Analyst to join their team in a Remote capacity. In this role, the Senior Investment Data Analyst will directly support the implementation and ongoing execution of quality controls and data validation processes intended to ensure accuracy of all investment data within the investment accounting, trading and other investment systems, with a primary focus on Security Master data.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
• Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly review and reconciliation controls to ensure complete and accurate security data
• Identify missing and inaccurate data and work with internal and external parties, including third-party vendors, front office investment management, investment accounting, and others to track and resolve identified issues and escalate if necessary
• Maintain process and control documentation
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the flow of security data throughout the life cycle of the investment, as well as variations specific to certain asset classes
• Participate in special projects, support internal/external audit requests, and other ad hoc requests
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of cumulative, relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Data Analysis & Data Integrity
• Experience with Investment Management & Process Improvement
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, problem-solving and technical skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
