Salary Range: $114,400 – $151,500 DOE

What You’ll Do as a Sr. Inventory Accounting Manager:
- Oversee inventory accounting processes including monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Maintain inventory records, perform variance analysis, and track KPIs/metrics
- Manage reserves, obsolescence, tooling, and prepaid inventory reconciliations
- Oversee duty accruals, freight, and in-transit inventory accounting
- Analyze general ledger activity to identify trends and discrepancies
- Support audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Drive process improvements and maintain clear documentation of procedures
- Supervise and mentor the Inventory Supervisor and team
What We’re Looking For in a Sr. Inventory Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of inventory accounting experience, ideally within retail or consumer products
- Strong general accounting foundation including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar systems a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work through large data sets and identify variances
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments
