Location: Everett / Hybrid
Salary Range: $114,400 ‑ $151,500 DOE

Key Responsibilities – Sr. Inventory Accounting Manager
- Lead all inventory accounting processes, including monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Maintain inventory records, perform variance analysis, and track KPIs/metrics.
- Manage reserves, obsolescence, tooling, and prepaid inventory reconciliations.
- Oversee duty accruals, freight, and in-transit inventory accounting.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate costing.
- Supervise and mentor the Inventory Supervisor and team.
- Identify trends and discrepancies through ledger analysis and data review.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.
- Drive process improvements and maintain documentation of key procedures.
Qualifications – Sr. Inventory Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of inventory accounting experience, preferably in retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Solid general accounting experience: journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Experience managing teams or supervising staff preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to review large data sets and identify variances.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with BI/reporting tools a plus (Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft NAV preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally.
