Aramark Facilities Management is seeking a Senior General Manager to lead custodial operations across NRG Park, one of the most active and high-profile event complexes in the United States.
This is a high visibility, high impact leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence across a 350-acre complex that includes NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans), NRG Center, NRG Arena, and the historic NRG Astrodome.
The Sr. General Manager leads all custodial operations across more than 300 event days annually, supporting NFL games, large-scale conventions, concerts, and marquee events such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
This role oversees a team of 9 managers and a flexible hourly workforce of up to 900 team members during peak events. Success in this role requires an experienced operator who can lead at scale, manage complexity, and deliver consistent results in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

- Base salary range: $120,000 ? $135,000

What You?ll Do
Lead all custodial operations across a large-scale, multi-venue complex, ensuring service excellence, operational consistency, and strong client partnership across more than 300 annual events.
Job Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee all custodial operations across NRG Park with hands-on leadership during major events. Ensuring all facilities, venues, and surrounding spaces are consistently well-maintained, clean, and event-ready.
- Manage a team responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas across the complex, including stadium, convention, and arena spaces, while keeping pace with an extremely busy, high-volume event schedule.
- Ensure operational readiness across a wide range of event types, from sporting events to conventions and large-scale exhibitions.
Client and Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as the senior operational leader and primary point of contact for client leadership, maintain strong relationships and ensuring alignment on expectations, service delivery, and long-term goals.
- Continuously assess operations and implement improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational performance.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing management team capable of executing large-scale operations.
- Drive accountability, engagement, and performance across both management and frontline teams.
Financial and Business Performance
- Manage operational budgets in partnership with finance, including labor, supplies, and overall cost control.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize resources, and drive financial performance.
- Support forecasting and operational planning aligned with event schedules and business demands.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Aramark operational and safety standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety for employees, guests, and clients across all operations.

Qualifications
In order to be prepared for this leadership role, qualified candidates will possess:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume custodial or facilities operations
- Experience supporting venues with 200+ annual events or comparable operational complexity
- Proven ability to manage large, flexible workforces of 600+ employees
- Experience in stadiums, convention centers, arenas, or similar large-scale venues preferred
- Background in service industries such as hospitality, contract services, or facilities management
- The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
- Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
- Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues.
- Proven ability leading through other managers.
- Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
- Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
