Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to align financial strategy with business goals.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Free Cash Flow).
  • Build and maintain operating plan models using historical and market data.
  • Submit accurate financial reports using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Create and present Operating Plan and Forecast decks to leadership.
  • Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. plan, forecast, prior year).
  • Analyze product mix and market performance; collaborate with market managers.
  • Lead monthly forecasting including backlog, ship profit, and facility-level results.
  • Conduct product profitability analysis and develop action plans for low-margin products.
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, and Marketing on pricing updates.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and automation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through standard work and kaizen activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Experience in manufacturing with standard cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel Macros, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and with senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Exposure to Corporate FP&A.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and Microsoft technologies (e.g., JavaScript, VB, .NET, Python, PERL).
