Our vision is to transform lives and communities through clinical and operational excellence.POSITION OVERVIEW: An Sr Financial Analyst functions in a line capacity performing general and specialized accounting/ budget work under the direction of the Budget Director or Controller. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs all budgeting and/or accounting tasks as assigned, generally as related to a specific functional area of the Agency. Is expected to analyze fiscal trends and patterns within the scope of their assigned area and report any unusual or divergent patterns to their supervisor Is responsible for ensuring contract budgeting compliance, NYC experience a plus. May be responsible for the preparation of regular internal financial statements and presentations.CORE COMPETENCIES Strong written and oral communication skills, and pay attention to details. Excellent organization and time management skills are essential. Ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline and one year of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit environment. An Associate's degree and three years of experience in accounting is also acceptable.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Knowledge of excel requiredCOMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: Proficiency in using computer hardware (e.g. laptop, printers, scanners). Proficiency in using computer software (e.g. Microsoft office software, Avaya, Dayforce CRM).
