Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr. Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is an integral part of our construction team and will be responsible for all aspects of project estimation including pricing, hard bidding, cost management, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction estimating and cost analysis, with a proven track record of creating accurate and competitive project bids. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a pivotal role in their successful completion.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects across various sectors.
2. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Perform risk and contract management responsibilities as they pertain to the bidding process.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on project cost estimates.
5. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
6. Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
7. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
8. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
9. Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or related field.
3. Proficient in pricing, hard bidding, project estimation, and cost management.
4. Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to negotiate and build relationships.
6. Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and estimating software.
7. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make strategic decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and construction processes.
