We’re excited to support our client, a global, industry-leading manufacturing organization located in Cleveland, OH, in their search for a Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition to join their team. This role offers a global reach and requires approximately 20% domestic and international travel. This is a highly visible, enterprise-level leadership role at a pivotal time for the organization. As the company continues to scale globally, they are investing in a forward-thinking, data-driven Talent Acquisition strategy to support sustained growth, innovation, and operational excellence.


As the Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, defining and executing a global recruitment strategy aligned with business priorities. You will lead transformation efforts across employer branding, recruiting operations, systems, and early talent initiatives—while building a high-performing, future-ready TA function.


What You’ll Do

  • Define and lead the global Talent Acquisition strategy, operations, and delivery across regions and business units.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional stakeholders to align hiring strategies with business growth objectives.
  • Drive global TA transformation initiatives, including employer branding, social sourcing strategies, and process standardization.
  • Oversee the stabilization and optimization of recruiting systems, including ATS and global onboarding platforms (SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Lead, develop, and scale a global Talent Acquisition team, fostering strong performance and career growth.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, measure success, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Build and implement selection frameworks that elevate quality of hire and long-term talent success.
  • Establish governance processes to ensure compliance, legal alignment, and ongoing process improvement.
  • Implement and optimize vendor management strategies to enhance agency performance and reduce external spend.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on hiring, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Design and lead a global Early Talent strategy to build sustainable pipelines.
  • Champion diversity-focused recruiting strategies that strengthen workforce representation.
  • Partner with global talent teams to proactively identify gaps and build pipelines for critical roles.
  • Evaluate and introduce new sourcing tools and recruiting technologies in partnership with HRIS.


What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a manufacturing environment, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity within complex, global organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Business, HR, or related field).
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing TA teams across multiple global and domestic regions.
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of influencing senior leaders and building trusted partnerships.
  • Deep expertise in Talent Acquisition strategy, operations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Highly data-driven mindset with experience leveraging metrics and analytics to drive performance and accountability.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing ATS platforms and other recruiting technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management efforts across systems, processes, and teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to building diverse talent pipelines and advancing inclusive hiring practices.
