Summary



The Senior Client Solutions Manager serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, responsible for leading the delivery and growth of medium to large scale accounts. This role ensures alignment from Business Development through Delivery, providing high-level oversight of service plans and maintaining excellence in client experience, operational standards, and financial performance across large-scale programs. The position requires strategic oversight, business acumen, and proactive management of account deliverables, budgets, and cross-functional coordination to ensure profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence. Working closely with key stakeholders and internal teams, the Senior Client Solutions Manager drives innovation, quality assurance, and process improvement. This exempt-level role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution and is accountable for expanding relationships and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.


This position will support our AV Exhibits group under our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Account Management


• Manage a portfolio of client accounts with annual revenue of $4 million or more, or lead projects within an account or portfolio.

• Pre-sale engagement to build budgets based on identified initial scope for account and/or portfolio.

• Oversee the transition of accounts from Business Development and provide ongoing account management and account oversight.

• Consult with clients on job details (providing expert advice) and confirm requirements with internal team members to develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive service plans.

• Maintain and generate revenue by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services beyond existing contracts; potentially renew and re-sign existing business.

• Initiate and oversee estimating process of specific project deliverables in accordance with production.

• Develop and/or approve pricing quotes (in line with delegations of authority) and event budgets to ensure profitability and financial alignment with client expectations.

• Maintain awareness of tax regulations for specific city, county, and state jurisdictions, including a customer's tax-exempt status to ensure accurate budgeting and cost modeling.

• Provide oversight of the Event Set-up process in Salesforce for opportunities to ensure timing and correct price master are utilized.

• Provide oversight of the pricing, inventory management, and fulfillment process for Envision and/or internal sponsorship portal.

• Consult in contract development and negotiation including cost and price modeling, billing, and invoicing. Participate in customer presentations as requested.

• Lead site visits and supervise on-site execution to ensure quality control and client satisfaction.

• Adapt to shifting client needs and scope modifications; submit change orders and budget validation as needed.


• Prepare detailed reports on business transactions, account performance, and post-event analysis.


• Attend industry events and entertain facilities personnel as needed.


Project Management & Operational Execution

• Lead complex projects with strong problem-solving and client-focused approaches.

• Develop event workforce plans in coordination with relevant internal and external (vendor) teams. Oversee logistics, travel timeframe and budgets, communications, and instructions with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event execution.

• Facilitate strategic meetings between account, creative, and production teams to align on goals, deliverables, and deadlines.

• Oversee timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet project milestones and client expectations.

• Adapt to shifting needs and circumstances, quickly overcoming obstacles that might interfere with performance.

• Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the planning and execution phases.

• Partner with Production to develop schedules and timelines.

• Build safety and show site crisis management plans with internal and external teams.

• Oversee graphic deliverables by ensuring alignment with client expectations, company brand standards, and production specifications.

• Ensure event profitability through strong decision-making.

• Provide ongoing efforts to manage and evolve an account to its highest profitability based on continuous improvement metrics.

• Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and performance to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.

• Coordinate with internal logistics and external suppliers to ensure availability of materials, equipment, and labor.


Business Development

• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Freeman’s full suite of services.

• Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to support strategic growth initiatives.


Education & Experience



• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and/or equivalent work experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in live event or exhibit production, leading complex projects from concept through on-site execution

• Strong working knowledge of AV systems, rigging, lighting, exhibit fabrication, and show-site logistics

• Proven experience partnering with Sales, creative, and operations teams to validate scope, feasibility, and production strategy


• Demonstrated success managing client-facing production initiatives and setting clear expectations throughout the project lifecycle

• Excellent customer service skills

• Software/Systems experience in Salesforce, Workfront, Vectorworks, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications

• Strong drive for personal growth and commitment to succeed

• Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and ability to prioritize

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers and the general public

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.

• Excellent verbal communication skills required

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by live events
