Procurement Specialist

Location: Winsted, Connecticut (Fully Onsite – support to Branford, CT required)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support our Winsted and Branford, CT facilities. This fully onsite role is responsible for executing procurement strategies that ensure security of supply, cost control, and production support while maintaining compliance with company and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotes, and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to achieve best value.

• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, coding, and delivery commitments.

• Support production schedules through supplier coordination and timely issue resolution.

• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, AP, and Receiving to resolve procurement and invoice discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit standards, supplier onboarding, and ERP system accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• ERP system experience required (Oracle preferred); strong Excel proficiency.

• Must meet ITAR U.S. person requirements and be willing to work onsite in Winsted and regularly at Branford, CT.
