Job description:
Provides expertise in secure coding, threat modelling, and vulnerability management, while also mentoring teams and promoting a culture of security across the organization.
- The Lead Application Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring security, integrity, and compliance in systems, applications and services within DHS.
- This role involves leading efforts to design, implement, and maintain secure application architectures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and driving security best practices across the agency.
- The Lead Application Security Engineer shall have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in application security, software development, or related roles and have experience with RPA and automation tools, as well as integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.
