Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to support their Global Engineering team. This position plays a critical role in driving financial accuracy, supporting project execution, and partnering closely with Engineering leaders.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Engineering and leadership teams to develop efficient financial processes that ensure proper revenue and cost recognition
  • Analyze monthly engineering activity including gross margin impact and department spend
  • Lead improvements to ERP, project-tracking, and reporting systems to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Review engineering service contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment, cost tracking, and asset ownership
  • Coordinate engineering-related capex activity across multiple sites, ensuring accurate capitalization and tracking
  • Prepare annual engineering budgets and quarterly forecasts; lead monthly review meetings (budget vs actuals, resource utilization, program margins)
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to engineering results
  • Contribute to additional finance and accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with project accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and cost tracking
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Strong business partnering ability; comfortable supporting cross-functional teams
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Infor (ERP), OneStream (consolidation), and Power BI (analytics)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-first mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
