Our client, a leading organization in autonomous transportation, is seeking a Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone willing to take full ownership of their workload and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $60-67/h + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Manage accounts payable and implement process improvements
- Review employee expense accounting classifications and act as a backup for team members when needed for different accounting functions such as fixed assets and leases
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills
