Job Description:
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Primary Skill: SQL server development DBA Admin.
  • Secondary: Tableau.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances (on-premises and/or cloud).
  • Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement and maintain database security (authentication, authorization, encryption).
  • Manage and automate maintenance plans, indexing, statistics, and job schedules.
  • Troubleshoot database issues including blocking, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement HA/DR solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Log Shipping, Clustering).
  • Perform capacity planning and manage storage growth.
  • Apply patches and updates, and upgrade database versions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts on schema design, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices.
