Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain our databases and ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and help drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
:Design and develop SQL queries, views, stored procedures, functions, and reports.
Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Maintain and update existing database systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and software developers to understand data requirements.
Create and maintain documentation related to database development and processes.
Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Ensure databases are secure, backed up, and operating efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance problems, and data discrepancies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with ETL tools and processes.
Familiarity with data modeling, database design, and normalization.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
Experience in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
