Spiritual Care Director

The Terraces at Summitview, a distinguished HumanGood community located in Yakima, WA is seeking a compassionate and innovative Spiritual Care Director to support and enrich the lives of our residents and community. Reporting to the Director of Community Life, this role provides spiritual and emotional care to inspire meaningful connections through worship services, grief support, and engaging spiritual activities. All centered around promoting our brand promise to help residents live their best lives. This position plays a key role in fostering a culture of compassion, dignity, and successful aging, while demonstrating strong leadership by managing volunteers. A commitment to Person Directed Care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building a supportive, respectful community are essential.
Part-time, 20-25-hours/wk., Sunday- Thursday. Additional days and Holidays as needed.
$30 - $40/hr., Depending on Experience.
Qualifications:
Five years directly related experience, knowledge of senior care or medical center facilities.
Ordination or commissioning by one's faith group to serve as a religious leader and endorsement; or official recognition by that faith group to function as a Chaplain.
Bachelor’s Degree required- Preferably in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies
Licensure/Certifications Preferred:

Associate Certified Educator; or Certified Educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), Inc.
