Speedway/7-Eleven Sales Associate – Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
- Handle cash responsibly, including counting drawers and following cash-handling procedures.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate product using FIFO standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, beverage station, and parking lot.
- Prepare food and beverages following 7-Eleven food safety and quality standards.
- Monitor product freshness, dates, and inventory levels; remove expired or damaged items.
- Assist customers with product selection, promotions, and store services.
- Follow all safety, security, and loss prevention policies.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned.
- Receive and put away deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or suspicious activity to management.
- Work as part of a team to meet store goals for sales, food service, and customer satisfaction.
- Comply with company policies, local laws, and health regulations.
This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering a consistent customer experience.
