Powerback is seeking an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist for their Genesis Healthcare partner. This SLP’s primary job duty will be providing Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the adult population in the post-acute care setting. 

This position will focus primarily on completing FEES in a set geography, so the ability to travel is required.  The clinician will primarily be completing FEES; however, the SLP will also provide patient care in the post-acute setting with other diagnoses, as needed.  

Training Provided: Comprehensive FEES CEU and competency training. Dedicated leadership team providing ongoing clinical and operational support throughout the entirety of your career at Genesis.

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

1. Strong passion for instrumental swallow assessment, specifically FEES

2. Interest in community marketing of FEES and the willingness to grow the program within the geography 

3. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues 

4. Willingness to assist with other evaluation and treatment of the adult population in the post-acute setting

5. Possibility to assist in the growth and support of developing future Endoscopists through CEU participation and competency/support on-site visits and training. 

6. The SLP may also provide patient care in the post-acute setting with other diagnoses

7. Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or a similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

8. The Speech Language Pathologist must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
