Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Maryland SLP license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Experience treating dysphagia and performing bedside swallow evaluations preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days).
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week (per VMS guaranteed hours).
• Contract Length: 14 weeks (VMS contract weeks).
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
