Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active Georgia State license in Speech-Language Pathology required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or geriatric populations preferred.
  • Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, and common SLP documentation systems preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 0800-1630.
  • Work days: Monday through Friday.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
  • Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
  • May be required to split caseload or coordinate with nearby units within the same organization.
