We are seeking a skilled Special Systems Designer / Estimator to support the design, estimation, and execution of low-voltage system projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate project estimates, designing system layouts, and working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Design and estimate low-voltage systems including intrusion alarm, access control, IP video surveillance, nurse call, mass notification, structured cabling, and fire/life safety systems
Conduct site surveys to assess project scope, requirements, and constraints
Develop detailed proposals, system designs, and cost estimates
Interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices
Support project coordination and assist with technical guidance as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in low-voltage systems design and/or estimating
Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and system applications
Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, D-Tools, and Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Comfortable conducting site walks, including climbing ladders when needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
