What you'll do:

• Conduct thorough investigations.
• Analyze evidence: Review documents, witness statements, medical records, and other relevant information to assess the veracity of claims.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document findings.
• Develop and assist with training of claims and other personnel.
• Efficiently handle a selection of field and desk investigations within Special Investigators Authority, prioritize activities, allocate resources.

What it takes to join our team:

• College degree or 8 years prior experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement (investigations), or related field.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Frequent travel required with overnight stays possible.
• Must be able to work under varying weather conditions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in conducting interviews and gathering evidence.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to insurance fraud investigation.
• Certification in fraud examination (e.g., Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator) is a plus or must be obtained after hiring.
