Special Education Teacher

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Elementary Resource Room Teacher to support K8 students through a pullout/pushin service model. This educator will collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to provide targeted academic support and ensure student success.

Position Details

• Grade Levels: Kindergarten8th grade

• Service Model: Resource Room (pullout and pushin)

• Caseload: Approximately 10 students

• Schedule:Fulltime, onsite

• Compensation: Starting at $45 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and smallgroup instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Support students within general education settings when needed (pushin)

• Develop and implement accommodations, modifications, and intervention plans

• Maintain progress monitoring and documentation

• Collaborate with staff and families; participate in IEP meetings

Ideal Candidate

• Holds appropriate teaching certification

• Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students

• Strong understanding of special education practices and differentiated instruction

• Organized, communicative, and studentcentered
