Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations related to special education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid Indiana teaching license with special education endorsement.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and families.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed.
