Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan. This is a full-time, on-site position working with K 8th grade students in a supportive school environment.
The teacher will provide services in resource settings, supporting students through a combination of pull-out and push-in instruction. The caseload is small, with approximately 10 students, allowing for more individualized support and meaningful progress.
Position Details:
Location: Dearborn, Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site
Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Service Model: Resource (Pull-Out / Push-In)
Caseload: Approximately 10 students
Starting Pay: $50 per hour
Requirements:
Active Michigan Educator License with Special Education endorsement
Experience working with K 8 students in special education settings preferred
Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
Strong commitment to supporting student growth and success
