Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
The ServiceNow Platform Administrator serves as the technical lead responsible for the health, performance, and operational integrity the ServiceNow instance. This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, system administration, and security protocols specific to air-gapped networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage platform upgrades and patch deployments following strict change control procedures
- Configure and maintain system properties, email, integrations, scheduled jobs, and platform security settings
- Implement and enforce access controls, user roles, and authentication mechanisms compliant with security policies
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability metrics; proactively address bottlenecks and issues
- Develop and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Lead incident response for platform-level issues and participate in change advisory board (CAB) processes
- Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and end users
- Maintain compliance with federal security standards including NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD requirements as applicable
Required Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- 5+ years ServiceNow platform administration experience
- Experience with air-gapped or classified networks strongly preferred
- Active security clearance
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles

Workplace Options:This position can be hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office or on-site full time.While on-site, you will be a part of the SDA team located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
