Duke's on 7, part of Craft & Crew Hospitality, is seeking a Full-Time Sous Chef who is ready to step into senior kitchen leadership and grow into an Executive Chef role in the future.
This is a second-in-command position designed for an experienced Sous Chef (minimum 2 years as a Sous Chef) who is ready to elevate their impact. As Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in leading daily operations, developing the BOH team, driving food quality and consistency, and supporting the financial performance of the restaurant.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS SOUS CHEF
Every day brings leadership opportunities.
You will:
Act as second-in-command of the Duke's kitchen
Lead daily BOH operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and profitability
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen leaders and line staff
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Manage food cost, labor cost, scheduling, and inventory
Maintain recipe standards, plating integrity, and food safety compliance
Assist in seasonal menu development and daily/weekly specials
Take full leadership responsibility in the Executive Chef's absence
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment where accountability, communication, and teamwork matter.
WHAT MATTERS MOST
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef
5+ years total restaurant experience
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Food costing and labor management expertise
Scheduling and inventory management experience
ServSafe Certification
High standards for quality and execution
Desire to grow into an Executive Chef role
