Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Sourcing Specialist Indirect Materials job in Danbury, CT. In this Sourcing Specialist Indirect Materials job, you will have regional responsibility for the strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services, including professional services, facilities and real estate services, IT, marketing, and MRO. You will lead competitive bidding processes, vendor negotiations, and cost management initiatives to support sustainable procurement strategies.
Sourcing Specialist Indirect Materials job responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services including professional services, facility and real estate services, IT, marketing, and MRO
- Manage and execute global competitive bidding processes (RFI, RFP)
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract development
- Identify and realize cost reduction opportunities to support sustainable cost management
- Analyze procurement markets and develop strong supplier relationships
- Create purchase orders (POs) in SAP in accordance with approved requests and internal procedures
Sourcing Specialist Indirect Materials job qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of indirect sourcing experience within an international business environment and matrix organization
- Strong knowledge of sourcing processes (RFx) and contract negotiation
- Demonstrated project and change management experience
- Experience developing and executing procurement strategies across multiple organizational levels
- Category sourcing experience in IT, MRO, Property Maintenance, Real Estate, Marketing, and Professional Services
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%
- Excellent analytical, communication, and networking skills
- Fact-based decision maker who is pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive
